Vaishnodevi Temple at Rourkela is a replica of the original Temple of Vaishnodevi of Jammu (Trikuta Hills) and is situated on the top of the Durgapur Hill[1] facing towards Rourkela Steel Plant. Bhairabanath Temple[2] is situated near Vaishodevi Temple on the hill.nnIn 2007, the Temple of Goddess Durga, located on the top of the hill, was opened for visitors. During Durga Puja, in the spring and autumn seasons, the Navaratri Festival is celebrated, hundreds of Hindu worshippers come here.

Mandir placed at very good situation you can see a hocky group steel industry as well, cave is preseverd in side the temple you need to go through cave to reach inside it.

Very Nice place In heart Of rourkela , You have to Take almost 700 stairs For Going To main Temple , It will Take 30-45 mins & Can be a challange for Old Age ppls .nnThere are fences after some distance for sitting , Must Take Water bottles with YounBcz There are nothing To drink on the way (There is drinking water facilities only At the Top) .nnThe entrance Of cave was Quite Congested & Narrow & The Temple is quite neat & Clean .nnYou can Even Trekk after The Temple By a Rough Narrow Path & Can go at More High altitude.nIt will be risky as The road is very Steep , so take care .nnOverall A pretty Good experience For me.

Serene and superb! Go slowly with friends or family, darshan of Mata will be very well. There are few shops who depend totally on the pilgrims and devotees visiting the temple, so kindly support them even if it's in 10-20₹ worth of purchase
