This war memorial (शहीद स्मारक) is still under construction and likely to be opened within next six months. Foundation stone was laid on 11 Sept 2019. This would going to be the 5th war memorial of Bikaner. The one old one is already in Public Park, second at Tirtham circle, 3rd is at District Soldier Board and the 4th is Capt. Chandar Choudhary memorial near Museum Circle. Good stone work is in progress here and this is going to be the most modern and latest war memorial in Bikaner. It's true that if a society or country forgets her martyrs never survive long so it's nice to have this memorial here where we can remember our brave soldiers who faugth and sacrificed their lives for country. we may hope it will begin very soon.
