Beragani

Beragani is a Badaga Community village, situated at the Eastern border of The Nilgiris ,around 10 Kms distance from Kotagiri. This is totally an Eco- Sensitive and Community - Protected Zone, wherein, the Badaga Goddess Hethai Amman Temple is there.Annually the temple is open for the Devotees during December/ January months and the Devotees are allowed to visit the temple with full divinity and purity in mind and dress with the Badaga Culture and Tradition.Around 100,000 Devotees visit the temple every year from all parts of the district and neighboring places.
