A must be place for Hindu people. A complete holy place and is full of devotees. People from all over the world, especially followers of Hindu religion come to the sacred place to offer their devotion to Lord Shiva: the creator, preserver and the destroyer.nOn the occasion of MahaShivarati, the temple holds a special religious events and saints from the neighboring countries assemble to pray the collective devotion while the people also offer prayers and fast for the entire day. The temple area is considered to be very religious and sacred. One is not allowed to click photo inside the temple but can click from the outside.

It is one of the major religious sites in Nepal which is on the World Heritage List. People from all over the world come here to visit and worship. It is the largest Hindu temple located in Province 3, Kathmandu Nepal.Not just temples here, culture, art, nature, religion,rivers and so on.In fact it is a confluence of many things and a sacred place that can be seen and felt after coming here.

The largest temple complex in Nepal, it stretches on both sides of the Bagmati River which is considered holy by Hindus.nnThe main pagoda style temple has a gilded roof, four sides covered in silver, and exquisite wood carvings. Temples dedicated to several other Hindu and Buddhist deities surround the the temple of Pashupatinath.nnCremation of Hindus take place on raised platforms along the river. Only Hindus are allowed through the gates of the main temple
