Ladakh is a unique place....cold desert but warm hearted people.... difficult terrain but easy going population.... beautiful people....slightly expensive but understandable due to harsh conditions...

The most famous market place of Leh, known as Bazaar street is the most anticipated destination of tourists and localites. The street comprises of many restaurants, snack bars and banks too. All types of events and celebrations are more often starts from this place in Leh. One can find all types of shops such as grocery, eatables and medicines too.

This is main bazaar of Leh, presently most of the shops are closed due to covid.famous for dry fruits, pashmina shawls, restaurants and general Store items , two sweet shops.no vehicle allowed

Good place to have snacks, pick souvenirs, You can visit the old tibetan market, local eateries, You can see the locals coming and selling their local produce also here. There are some shops selling good trekking gear here. Neha snacks is good for a bite. There is a sardars sweet shop selling very good bread pakora and tea. You can pick winterwear here. Local handmade socks, caps and gloves also r good.
