The place is the memorial of the great Raha Rammohan Roy, a great thinker who fought against ill practices that were prevelant in our country.nThe place is very well maintained and the description of all the life events are apty written in both Bengali and English so that larger audience can be reached.nThe staff is also very friendly and allowed me to take photos and ask questions that I had. Currently there is also a school near his memorial.
