People might say that this is the best place ever in Calcutta. But, well it doesn't really reflect how it is to live in Calcutta. Still, if you are there and are pretty interested in history, this is just the place to look forward to. This is the kind of place where you can actually sit back, relax and enjoy the pretty flowers in the garden, with the sun up and showering it's warmth. And most importantly, the monument which is more a marvel than a beauty.

Victoria memorial is many things at once. Its a museum of historical relics, it is a great civil building made by white stones, it has a beautiful garden, lover's point and some beautiful lakes with birds and animals. Now a days big apartments are rising all around the place giving it much less footage that it had once but apparently its still a great place to visit for educational, historical and cultural purpose.

Such a well-kept and beautiful place to visit. An informative place for any history geek. Just entering the building will give you a certain feeling of grandeur.

One of the best visiting place in kolkata. Garden is well decorated and great one for photography purpose. Evening time there is a chance of getting good photos with vibrant sunset colors. A great place hanging out with friends and families.
