RBI zonal retaining centre besides HSBC office in Dal housie area . Presently it is used by RBI for training of staffs . This is a heritage building declared by government .

Present trend of iterest rates is downward. This results in downward revision of Fixed Deposit Rates. As a result of which, those Retired /Senior Citezens who are dependent on earnings from Bank Interest on their investments of retirement benefit in a Bank FD Account, that is, meet their's family expenses on the earnings from interests on FD A/C, is going down. As a result of which it is becoming increasingly difficult for them to meet their Monthly expenses in present day's escalating prices of all items specially Food items.nI would, therefore, request you to consider to bring out a Scheme only for retired persons or those above 60 years of age so that their earnings does not go down even if normal FD Rates revised downward, so that they are able to meet their family expenses. Hope you will consider my request with due respect.
