Mig Cinema Hall

Grew up watching movies in three cinema halls: Norgay and Mig in Pling and Losel in Gelephu. My childhood is full of Bollywood, Hollywood, and Chinese movies. Thanks for the lovely memories. However, with the onslaught of new technologies, these cinema halls has gone out of vogue, to our sheer chagrin. I wish it is resurrected before it vanishes like Gelephu cinema hall because Bhutan now has movies of our own and they need these avenues. It's not comfy watching movies in the school halls anymore.

It's a historical cinema, a landmark in Phuntsholing that's falling apart.nIt's badly in need of repair or a major renovation.nIt's my first time and I'm throughly disappointed.nAcross the world cinema is a great family getaway, therefore this hall deserves all the support for renovation to make it a great cinema again.

Worst Cinema hall I have ever visited in Bhutan. No proper seats also.
