Entire diu is supplied electricity from this place. It is entirely a solar plant with more than 32000 solar plates. It is divided in to 3 parts and produces enough electricity for the entire diu. Well maintained place with good gardens and also the view from this place is extremely wonderful. Good place to visit to learn about solar plant. It was a wonderful experience to visit this place

Department, Diu. The Electricity Department, Diu does not have its own power generation. It is mainly engaged in the transmission and Distribution of Electricity to the various categories of consumers. Diu District gets Power from 220/66 KV Kansari Sub-Station and 66 K.V. Una Sub-Station through 66 K.V. Double Circuit line and both the lines are Paralleling upto 66 K.V. Sub-Station, Malala, Diu. The Electricity Department, SD-II, Diu Maintains 66/11 K.V. Sub-Station at Malala, Diu Consisting of 6 Nos. 11 K.V. Feeders. The total installed capacity of 66/11 KV Sub-Station is 15 MVA with average peak demand of 8.0 MVA. The Electricity Department, SD-II, Diu has 7 Nos. of Complain cum cash collection centres at various places where field staff working in day and night shift are posted.
