It is said that a child who does not have the opportunity to play is cut off from a major portion of his childhood.The Vivekananda Vidyapeeth is not just an excellent educational center but also stands out in sports. Apart from a number of playgrounds for the students they also have a large indoor stadium accommodating an inbuilt gymnasium of national standards their fitness regime includes regular workouts under the guidance and supervision of professional coaches.Encouraging the students to give their best to their favorite sport.nnThese games are not restricted to just the boys of the ashram. The girls to take active part in all sporting activities. They practice and play regularly with an equal dedication and team spirit. Be it Khokho, Basketball, Volleyball, Table tennis, Badminton and many more.nnBoys can be seen taking part in the sport of Mallkhamb. An ancient Indians sport to sharpen the whole body and mind. The students of the Ashram regularly participate and have won in many regional state and national level competitions.
