Built for some other purpose like having collections of various biological materials, microorganisms, plant specimens, etc. But it actually stays vacant for most of the time. A room is secured for the security personnel for having some rest and it is actively occupied during rehearsals for Freshers' program (nabarun). During this time, it is open 24 x 7. It has 2 floors with several rooms for rehearsals. It is well protected as the security room is just infront of it. The garden space just beside this building is used as cycle stand. May be in the future, it will find it's actual meaning.
