OUR LADY OF MOUNT CARMEL CHURCH

I am a foreigner here in India from Philippines and this place is my religious sanctuary every Sunday. The parish priest and the other two priests became my friends and parishioners are very friendly too and almost 3 years now since my assignment here, I feel at home with them. Many people visits this church not only Catholics but also people of other religious faiths.

This church is located on the bank of river tapi. During Christmas, whole place is decorated and Christmas carols are sung on Christmas Eve. The place is located in crowed area, however inside of church you can have enough space to accommodate 200-300 peoples. The can easily purchase candles and other offerings from nearby shops. The church have lot of benches over there, so you can seat and pray.
