This pond is a part of the famous Thodikalam temple. The pond was renovated recently but you can still find old stones used for the construction. It is located in a shady place as it is surrounded by huge trees. The water is clean and crystal clear. We can find trees of great medicinal values. Another important thing is that this place is usually not crowded, so it is better to take safety precautions before entering the pond. It is pretty sure that people will enjoy the serene beauty of the location.

Some say the temple is 2000yrs old and rebuilt in 16th century. Its under kerala archeological dept. Famous for mural paintings.
