Worst policlinic... my mother was a diabetic patient and she was taking insulin for last 15 years. We went this clinic and the physician said he will not give insulin unless it is necessary he changed insulin to tablets. And there is no improvement in my mother's condition she was having high sugar levels..and last 3 months my mother went there and asked to change to insulin.but still he gave tablet only.. in the last visit he asked to come after 6months only..my mother is having itching in the whole body and acidic problems. Her sugar level is above 400 and average went to 11..so we decided to shift her treatment to private clinic ..dissatisfied with the treatment. Very Very worst policlinic...

The worst Polyclinic in entire Kerala! I am writing my honest experience with this polyclinic. My father was an ex-service man and thus he and my mother had ECHS card stationed at Kannur. My mother is now located at Trivandrum and had requested to transfer her ECHS card from Kannur to Trivandrum. It was a horrible experience dealing with the CLERK in this office. This guy first asked me to send my mother's card via email. I did as per their request. There was no response from their end. So I called up again and they said, you have to send a handwritten application by my mother to their email and I obeyed their orders. I kept following up often at their landline number and was given lame excuses for not processing my mother's request. One day they will say, the clerk is on leave, the other day they will say they didn't get any of my email. Finally, I found out the Officer in Charge's mobile number from echs website and got in touch with him. He is a very respectful man and understood the issue properly. He processed our request and the next day I got email from ECHS Kannur saying that submit the entire handwritten application again! Such a waste of time...I had been trying to get this done since more than a month. So, I called up the landline and got connected to the clerk. He said, the handwritten item was not clear. The exact issue was that, this guy took Printout of my email, then had the OIC add his remark, scanned it and sent it to Trivandrum that too even without rotation the pdf properly and he was blaming us for his mistake! I had to report this guy's arrogance to the Officer in Charge Retd Col Ravi and he told me that they get many requests per day and hence he is behaving like this. Just to get my mother's card transferred, I had to call up Trivandrum Polyclinic to gather information. Every time I called TVM polyclinic, the staffs behaved so well and were so helpful. I have never seen such a horrible centre in my entire life. I've been to multiple army stations in India and never had encountered with such arrogant good for nothing CLERKS/office staffs. My request to the general public is that, if you need anything done from Polyclinic Kannur, please dial the Officer in Charge's mobile number and discuss your issues rather than going to that disgusting staff out there. Thank you Officer in Charge Col Ravi for helping us with the ECHS card transfer.
