Maati Jungle Lodge - Resort in Bandhavgarh

A place with a lot of potential but sadly lacking.nFirst the good points - lovely location, tasty food and large rooms (we stayed in the villa with private pool).nThe negatives:n1) The rooms could be maintained better. There were stains on the tables all over and the bathroom had a very strong unpleasant smell.n2) The bathroom gets freezing cold because of the tiled roof and the geyser holds very limited hot water.n3) Overall service could be better for the price we paid.n4) Access to the property can be a nightmare, especially if you are arriving at night.n5) We were charged extra for the food on top of the amount we paid, which we thought should have been inclusive.n6) Lastly, the private pool isn't really helpful considering it's always biting cold. Maybe it will be better in the summer.

If you are looking for a quite stay this is a perfect place with its quintessential cottages. The food is also delicious specially chicken curry. The staff is very cordial and numerous activities are there to keep you entertained throughout your stay. The approach to the resort is a little bumpy but if you are looking for adventure you'll have no problem with it. I would say go ahead and book ud83dudc4d

Maati Jungle lodge is a beautiful property with clean rooms attached with their own swimming pools or bathtubs and running kitchen.nSince we went in the month of January we wanted to be warm and there is a separate area dedicated for bonfires within the vicinity. They also have a dedicated snooker area.nThe food was delicious. We wanted to eat something homely and the khichdi was simply delicious.nThey were kind enough to take care of all the Safari bookings for us and made it a memorable trip.

The experience was true to the name. The stay , the hospitality and the food were good. The environment of the resort was what we had hoped for, and it did not disappoint. All in all, it was a wonderful experience far from the hustle and bustle of the city we live in!!!

Maati Jungle lodge was the most memorable stay in Bandhavgarh. The staff was friendly and helpful. Location is very peaceful and comfortable. They have given rustic look of real jungle stay. Rooms were very spacious and had everything which was required.
