Had a picture perfect escapade at Camp Dev Vilas. Thumbs up for the warm hospitality, friendly staff and delicious food. The cottages are spacious and comfortable. A swing beneath the huge Mahua tree was a cozy spot at the property.nA little more landscaping can add that wow factor to the whole experience.

CDV is a fantastic wilderness resort located some distance away from Mukki gate at Kanha. Spread over 14 acres, it has only 10 rooms which means there are plenty of open spaces and personal attention to guests. It has been conceptualised by nature lover Anurag Sharma who is a wildlife expert and has an excellent network across all parks of India. He even managed to organise safaris at the busiest time of the year with little notice (although that's something that I would recommend avoiding as it limits the options of where and when you can go).nnThe camp is located amid wilderness surrounded by the jungle, dotted with pretty villages which accentuates the wild experience. Food was delicious, home like and served lovingly by the very warm staff at all meals. They were highly attentive and anticipated all needs, quickly attending to anything we needed. Sitting by the bonfire underneath the starry night, listening to amazing wildlife stories was a great experience no amount of money can buy. Kanha is one of the best national parks in India and eating the packed breakfast provided in the middle of the forest was such a lovely, warm feeling. CDV management keeps guest experience at the front and center of their focus and it will be very evident in every element of your stay.nnOverall it was a great stay and I would highly recommend CDV as a base for anyone planning a Kanha visit.

The staff makes utmost effort to make your holiday perfect. From Food, to room, to all other arrangements. Our guest manager sailey, cook Antram, property owner Brijesh, and all other staff were devoted to help us with best possible holiday experience. It's absolutely reasonably priced and very affordable. It's not a luxury property but true to it's name, it's a great camping site for the economic budget.

A place to connect with generous hearted staff lead by Ms. Shaily leading the team at camp, being into hospitality industry can pick small small things which makes your stay more comfortable, relaxing and memorable. Like to thanks Anurag ji for his tasteful work which reflects in the camp. Timely given service, lovely food and those campfire evenings under the jackfruit need to be experienced rather heard.nnCamp has a beautiful landscape under big Mahua trees, grasses along the path, wetland to feel the serenity and systematic passionate farming. Nature lover and photographers will be busy exploring around. Rurallife is another beauty to belong outside the campus.nnThanks for being such a good host to wrap our trip cheerful.
