As the part of doubling and electrification works, many changes occurred at the Palakollu railway station.nnPlatform length has been increased.nnOld foot over bridge removed.nNew F.O.B construction is in progress.nnRailway protection force is available during arrivals and departures of the train.nnAuto service available from the station during train arrivals.nnBetter to carry own food and water. You can buy packed food from near by shops at Level crossing at your own risk.nnOn December 3rd 2020, I have traveled to this station by 07256/Lingampally - Narsapur Special train.nTrain has cruised at an average of 90 kmph.nArrived few minutes before the scheduled arrival time.nnNew station building construction is in progress.nWe can see Palakollu station with several modifications just like we had at Vejandla, Angalakuduru and Sangam Jagarlamudi.

Small station only double track less people will be there. A peaceful journey can be started from here

This was good for all travelers as only single platform (PF #1) is used for both arrival and departures.nEasy to locate and easy to reach main road.nFacilities are less and recommended to increase if possible.

Palakollu railway station doesn't have rest rooms, waiting halls or any good facilities. There is only small canteen. No drinking water, pipes never works. Single booking counter

it was only single track line and the trains are also very limited in this route and the station cleanliness is just ok most of the platform is not covered by shed so when it rains it becomes very difficult for passengers to board the train
