Scenic beauty of this place is very charming, being the border area beautifully decorated boats of Bangladesh often seen here. We were deputed here on election duty, visited here during the last parliamentary election. This place seems very beautiful during Sunrise and sunset

Land border crossing between Bangladesh and India however the custom and the immigration process can take a very long time, especially if you are not an Indian or a Bangladeshi passport holder, it is also a custom import station between the two countries however there are two small boats that ferry people between India and Bangladesh the normal charges at a around 30 Indian rupees however the boatman my charge you more for taking your luggage up and down the banks on both side it's best to negotiate the prices before you get on board and then tip them accordingly. Please note you would need to pay travellers tax on Bangladesh side when you going to India and have to passport size photos upon arriving Indian immigration
