Rosa shala (रोशोशाला) is the world's largest kitchen situated in south-east side within Shree Jagannath Temple (Puri, Odisha) outer compound. Everyday 700 cooks (Suaras) and 400 assistants cook 56 bhog here using earthen pot on wood fired hearths for Shree Jagannath. Once served to Lord it's called MahaPrasad and distributed among his devotees (number can reach 1,00,000 or more on busy days). Visiter ticket rate is Rs 5/- per person (no discount allowed). Fire is never put out. Entrance is not wheelchair friendly. Visit starts at 09:00 AM.

This is the kitchen of Shri Jagannath Temple, where the 51 prasads for Lord Jagannath, Lord Balaram and Devi Subhadra are prepared everyday for offerings. It was earlier open for public but now it is a paid place.
