Lovely store if somewhat lost in the depths of the Cornish countryside. The staff were both helpful and knowledgeable about all aspects of Alcoholic fare. Both the range of items and the pricing make it worth visiting.

Treasure trove of local and international booze that looks like a village store from the outside. Good for eggs, potatoes and honey - even better for an obscure-but-delicious gin you've never heard of.

I had an extremely disappointing experience here today. I have been a customer here for many years and have previously recommended the shop to friends and family.nAfter driving for over an hour from my home, I entered the store today to redeem a voucher I received from a family member for my birthday, but unfortunately, before I was able to make a purchase, I was confronted by a member of staff who questioned why I wasn’t wearing a face covering. I explained VERY clearly that I was exempt from wearing a face covering and was informed by the member of staff that I must produce a special tag to prove that I was exempt or otherwise purchase and wear a face covering to be able to continue shopping. I chose to leave the shop as I could not wear a mask. It is not always obvious that a person has a genuine reason for not wearing a face covering and there is no legal requirement to carry a special tag to identify yourself as a person who is exempt from wearing a face covering. Never before have I felt so discriminated against. I can’t see why it is not sufficient just to explain that a person is exempt without having to print out and carry a “special tag” (which could be printed off and used by any person if they so wished)nIt is also perhaps quite ironic that a shop peddling alcohol and tobacco is so quick to refuse entry to customers for “health reasons”nI made every effort to comply with the other requests about which directions to walk around the shop floor and I washed my hands with hand sanitiser before entering the shop. I didn’t touch anything in the shop or do anything else which could be considered unhygienic in any way.nSo, after two hours of driving, I am now stuck with a voucher I cannot actually spend as I am refused entry to the shop and apparently it is not redeemable online. Great.

A hidden gem. I've never seen so many different gins in one place! There were many other spirits and wines too, as well as convenience store items inc cakes!
