Can we visit now? Is there any cover certificate required from out of station passengers...

Ranthambore fort is quite majestic and enthralling climb, it may take half an hour to one hour to climb depending on the weather and fitness. We went during Christmas holidays so it was extremely crowded and car parking was not available.nOverall a good place to explorenTry going in early morning for better experience

Crowded but amazing to see a fort built on practically what is a tabletop mountain. You don't see it from anywhere apart from just one point in jungle. So much of heritage which is worth going. Stairs are 200+ so you will need to be fit.

Ranthambore Fort lies within the Ranthambore National Park, near the city of Sawai Madhopur, the park being the former hunting grounds of the Maharajahs of Jaipur until the time of India's Independence. It is a formidable fort having been a focal point of the historical developments of Rajasthan. The fort was held by the Chahamanas (Chauhans) until the 13th century, when the Delhi Sultanate captured it.nnIn 2013, at the 37th session of the World Heritage Committee, Ranthambore Fort, along with 5 other forts of Rajasthan, was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site under the group Hill Forts of Rajasthan.

It i good place to be it. However it is not well maintained.nGetting on top is good workout. But once you there its worth it.nYou will get a very good view of the park, the lake & hill from the top.nIt is inside the park, but entry is free, however you need to hire a carab or self drive to this location.nOn your way you can see few animals as well. Not a tiger for sure for which you need to take safari deep inside.
