AMAZING TEMPLE TO VISIT.Pawapuri is one of the holiest sites for the followers of Jainism in India. Located about 93 km from Patna, near Rajgir, this is the place where Mahavira, the 24thTirthankara of Jainism is believed to have attained nirvana or liberation. I visited this place with my parents on New year's Eve 2019. I've grown up in Bihar, but never really visited this historic landmark. The temple is pristine white, landed in the middle of a little pond and beautiful! It is maintained super well, very neat and has beautiful views of the surrounding. For a great perspective, visit during sunse.
