I purchased an item which was packed by them but when I opened it at home it was found to be broken at one place and no broken pieces where found in packing. Felt cheated.

This is a very old and interesting heritage shop, since 1890, located at the Chowrasta market at the Darjeeling Mall, in the same building which houses Chalet Hotel and Oxford Book Store. They have an array of handicrafts, artifacts and curios made by the local artisans and weavers of Darjeeling. There are many souvenirs and memorabilia you can buy as gift items from here. We bought some brightly painted Chinese tea cups with the Dragon design, with a lid, at a reasonable price.

A lovely little store with a million pieces! You can spend a lifetime going through every inch of their walls covered with something unique. Some fabulous pieces on loan from different high monk families which are then sold on to customers. The owner is the fourth generation and speaks of each piece with such care and affection...makes you appreciate the history of each piece and the fact that what you may end up buying is not just a run of the mill souvenir but a treasure worth cherishing. Some stunning pieces include a Jade teapot, jade drinking cup, turquoise Ganesh statue, a 50 yr old copper healing Buddha, and several other truly unique bronze pieces... wish I lived closer so that one could come hear the stories behind each of these pieces more frequently. A must visit for art collectors and connoisseurs. But remember - quality and history doesn't come cheap. This is not the sort of place at which one should haggle - the price is right.

Truely best for antique and art lovers , you will lost yourself here, lot of varieties available here but toooo expensive. Most beautiful n interesting shop I ever seen !!!

They have a wide range of antiques and silverware also jewelry and other decorative elements from Tibet sikkim ect.shope have all the stuff u needed under single roof,But only one negative is there is no fixed proce tag for any of the items,so that there is a chance of changing price.I prefer they had them tooud83dudc4d
