This place was incredible and worth looking for. Luckily you can ask most people in town and they can tell you where to go. Everyone knows this place because the food is so Good. My friend and I got two different thali and each were amazing!! The service was also incredible. The staff was quick and ready to meet any need. I'd you are a first time visitor to Darjeeling or a native make sure to eat here!

Kathmandu kitchen is one of the bests in Darjeeling. Milan Dada is the head chef here who makes delicious Nepali Cuisines. The experience is so good. A bit difficult to find as it's in a narrow alley down Laden La Road. However, it is truly a hidden treasure chest.nAmazing food! The momo they serve has a taste I have never experienced before. The Nepali thali tasted fantastic.nThe atmosphere is more of a homely eatery than a restaurant.nHowever, carry your currency notes as they only accept cash

Kathmandu Kitchen is truly a hidden gem. All the thalis are so delectable that you'll end up coming back again and again. We've had multiple thalis on multiple visits. Pork curry thali, pork sekuwa thali, veg thali, alu sadheko thali, mushroom sadheko thali all were so tasty. Excellent quality I must say. Starting from the rice to the daal to everything else. Fantastic quantity also.nTheir momo has a unique taste which is really something you must try. You won't find such taste anywhere else in Darjeeling. Trust me.nThe atmosphere was so warm, cozy and homely. The little baini was so jolly and helpful.
