DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE.nnTOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL.nnFirstly we waited for 1 hour 45 minutes to get a table. We thought it might be worth it given the reputation. But the nightmare had just begun.nnThe cocktails were not available for seconds, the starters were mediocre at best.nnAs the waiter told us food will take time, we ordered main course along with starters. We saw people come in after us, eat and leave.nAfter waiting for 2 HOURS WE FINALLY LEFT WITHOUT HAVING DINNER.nnPLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR DARJEELING HOLIDAY BY GOING IN THIS RESTAURANT.nnTHE WAIT IS NOT WORTH IT.

Went there for a quick lunch. Ordered Chill chicken, Mixed Fried rice and Pork Sapta.Chilli chicken was really tasty also the rice. They didn't serve the pork as the pork they bought on that day was hard and chewy. Truly appreciable! Quantity was lesser than I expected for that price.nFull bar available. recommended for a full meal or a quick bite.

I stayed in Hotel & Restaurant Shangri-La on mall road. The stay in the hotel was comfortable one. Rooms are big with radiators, family friendly and with breakfast options of continental, Alu paratha and Puri sabji. It tasted awesome. The man handling the boarding section - Daniel, is an asset to the property due to his promptness of response regarding anything, he is always there to help you for anything you need. We booked two rooms, 101 & 103 and we are very very satisfied with the service. Location of hotel is the prime advantage of the property. You can enjoy the hustle bustle of mall road till late night.nNow comes the restaurant section, some items I liked but not all. I will recommend mixed chowmin, chicken kung pao, hot garlic chicken with rum & coke.nBar section is well handled by Adarsh Rai, loved his sense and reccomendation of drinks. Also they arranged car pickup from Bagdogra Airport, it was a comfortable ride.

Slow service of starters and food quality has degraded. The salt and pepper pork was totally made with pig fat and no pig meat and there was an intense smell of burnt garlic with burnt coating. Another was crispy Shanghai chicken where there was very less sauce with which it should have been tossed. The sauce didn't enter the pieces at all. This wasn't expected after visiting there for so many times.

Amazing place to stay. Ambience was so beautiful. Manager Farana was so kind and amazing person. She handles the things better. Food was so delicious. I enjoyed staying there. Thank you for the great hospitality.
