International Youth Hostel Darjeeling

I do not recommend of booking rooms or staying in YHAI Darjeeling. They would take a decent tariff for one room and I paid Rs.965/- on 31-Dec-2020, but in returnn1. No room service,n2. TV but no remote,n3. Room Service bell, doesn't work,n4. No Proper water supplyn5. Night Bulb, but doesn't turn onn6. Geyser is there, but doesn't work, carry your own hot bucket from basement to 2nd, 3rd, 4th at whatever floor you are.n7. Yhai Darjeeling people will ignore your words, no matter what you say.nnGood for 1 thing only that is Trekking where you expect your body to suffer more and more... You can try their trek facilities as they provide in cheap price.

Darjeeling is an awesome place to plan your visit. I had heard about this hotel earlier. However, I did not find the service or the rooms worthy. Staffs tried to peek into our personal lives which is extremely disgusting. Geyser facility is not 24x7 available.

The caretakers are really very good. They helped us a lot. Also guided us very well.nnRooms are clean.nBasic amenities available.nBest in mid budget.

Darjeeling youth hostel is a place of stay for members of Hosteling International or Youth Hostel Association of India. Youth hostels provide cheap accommodations for tourists. Good place to stay when travelling solo or in small group of 2-4.
