Actually the oldest church in Palamau district, It is a Protestant Church founded in March 1923 by British Missionaries. Formerly known as Baptist Church of Christ a.k.a. BCC Union Church. Earlier, there were many small Christian Congregations (groups) were there i.e. Catholics, Churches of North India, Gossner Evengical Lutheren, Methodist Church in India and Marthoma Mission. Due to absence of seprate Church premises, all Christians worship together in this Church. That is why it has been named Union Church.
