The place is too good for night camping & sunrise, sunset views. View from fort walls gives a serene feel. Few activities like rock climbing, kayaking, zip lining are available. Weekend chill out plans to this place will be awesome.

7 hr drive from hyderabad with a 45 min lunch stop at Kurnool. Road after kurnool through the villages is not very good.... The canyon is beautiful . Gandikota also has an old mosque , temple and some adventure activities like zipline , rapelling, kayaking etc. Camping options are also good. Haritha tourism accomodation also available. Good sunrise points .
