A very thoughtfully executed project and the complex is being maintained efficiently too. One can not imagine this to be a Assam Sttate COORPERATION Bus Stand considering the pathetic condition of Bus Stands in India. Hope other cities will learn from this project and make more clean

Tinsukia’s ASTC bus stand is one of the busiest places in the town. Most of the people working at or associated with this bus stand are polite and helpful. In the evening and morning, long distance buses depart from and arrive at the bus stand. Once I purchased a Volvo Preronaa’s ticket to Guwahati for Rs 482/-. It was around 9 pm and I was sitting inside the bus which had arrived from Digboi and was standing at Tinsukia bus stand. The traffic had lessened and most of the shops near the bus stand were closed. I suddenly felt as if the bus was slowly moving backwards. On looking out through the window, I realized that it was actually moving forward. The movement of the bus was smooth and it made no noise. Soon the bus, with its wipers moving, was racing ahead towards Dibrugarh. I reached Guwahati around 7 am the next day.

Here you will get vehicles for neighbouring districts of Arunachal Pradesh( Roing, Tezu, Deomali, Miao, Bordumsa, Namsai, Pasighat, Khonsa, Changlang, Namrup, Nampong, Diyun etc) and availability of ASTC/Under A.S.T.C/ Private Local Buses, Winger, Tata Magic, Night Super Luxury buses to all districts of Assam.
