Many would suggest you Dekasang, but if you have limited money, this is your place. Comparatively cheap but equally amazing to stay.nFood is overpriced anywhere in Majuli, and Mepo Okum is no different.

Breakfast and dinner was great.nTea and coffee was pathetic.nRoom was with attached bathroom but lacked cleanliness.nPaid Rs.1500 for a room.nAffordable prices.

This is the place where you'll get different types experience like village type huts.nNo electricity, only one plug point .so mobile take code box.nService is good.nTake insects prevent cream.nNice Nature with stay amazing morning,nAuthentic feel, view is good. Morning start early.nMany foreigners comes here more than IndiansnCarry food, go in groups.nPreferably is your own transport.nIf you can adjust your self without 5 star hotel facilities must experience this.

This place has neat and tidy bamboo cottage and the owner also offers the vast open area in the property if you want to pitch your own tent. Located by the river side. Bamboo chicken, lots of fish from the river, lovely brown rice and chicken. Also serves locally brewed rice beer.
