Bridge is good. Only one lane is open for now. The sad part is even though it's a fairly new bridge but the sand on roads are accumulated at the sides which can cause a fatal crash. The approach rads to the bridge is not good. The tarmac used is of cement and not the actual road material coz of which the high speed grip lacks. However on the side of bridge there is a off-road that goes beneath the bridge that gives an awesome glimpse and is a peaceful place to hangout with friends.

There's no doubt the older one i.e. Abdul Bari Bridge is an excellent example of engineering but with time a huge traffic was difficult to be managed at that Bridge. So the solution is here a broad and huge 4 lane Bridge almost complete to handle the loads of vehicle. This would now increase the life of the former bridge by loosening its weight.
