Nalsarovar bird sanctuary

Loved the place. Take binoculars with you if you are bird enthusiast. Absolutely amazing. Perfect picnic for a day for a family. Try to be there by 9 am. Getting to see the birds is also a matter of luck but you would really enjoy the atmosphere. Kids will love it. Boat ride is bit costly though but totally worth it.

There all birds cone time to time and its very nice and silent place with birds sound. Also morning and evening time so better here. I think always should go there of all person in our life in one time. This also kind of picnic spot.in other word will say, all is good and better.

Nice place must visit in the early morning...around 6 to 7 but avoid going on weekends because a lot of public there..... lt almost took 2 hours to buy the tickets ....overall good place to go must go once ... good for 1 day picnic

There is nothing more to do in Nalsarovar unless you take a boat ride and visit different islands in the lake where you can see different species of birds.nnYou won't find any restaurant while going to Nalsarovar from Ahmedabad so you are left with only one option and that is to eat there which will cost you around 130/- per personnnCar parking charges are very high that is minimum 400/- including 6 adult entry tickets.nnBest time is definitely to visit in winter and that too in early morning.nnVisiting Nalsarovar with not a boat ride plan is a big no no.nnBoat rides are very expensive and there are always people to loot you so it's better you bargain a lot and I mean it.... bargain a lot....

If you are looking for serenity, calm and nature... this is the place. Heaven for bird watchers and nature enthusiasts. Guides and boats are somewhat unplanned and haphazard and you can't get an idea if you paid the right price or not. But nonetheless, the beauty and birds in the place beat all odds.
