We stayed at the alpnist cafe and retreat on 29-30 april 2021 and here is the summary of our experience:n1-The view from the room is just mind blowing,white mountains just like a paintingn2-the major concern we heard from people about kaza is lack of hot water but here 24 hr hot water supply is there so it's is major reliefn3-we had best food ever in Himalayas especially the cream chicken just out of the world.n4-special mention for the owner mr-jaspreet singh sidhu for making our stay pleasant and he is always available at the property for any concerns and guiding us to enjoy our trip.nnThank you.

Great host, property, views, food, and cafe. Rooms are the best in Kaza with running water even in coldest conditions. Ample parking. Siddhu paaji was always available to cater to our needs even when everything else in Kaza was shut down due to snowfall. Must stay. Book in advance.

The best thing I loved about this property is the location, view from the room and the food. Amazing hospitality, on the top of that the owner is very helpful, he has a lot of knowledge about this area. Very much passionate about travelling.

If you are really looking for a cozy corner in Kaza, you can head straight to The Alpinist. There's ample parking and the place itself is made by keeping every small detail in mind. You can spends days here. There are games, sports like badminton, plenty of books and even foosball!nThe rooms are very cozy with running hot water. Restaurant will serve you some reat food too. Bonfire with the tandoor is the best way to spend the evening around here.

I didn’t stay there but went couple of days to their cafe.nStaff is great....food is pretty okay while the eggs are great and chicken curry taste was good but I found a scrub piece in the curry. Next day I ordered a chicken pasta which was very average and it was salty. Paneer chilly (salty and weird tasting) and veg fried rice is a no no.nDefinitely try eggs and maggi there.nSidhu and Vishu are really sweet.
