Cafe Piti

Very good local food, nice place to sit out in the sun and bake yourself. Friendly staff, freshly prepared local food that suits your palette and is authentic. Nowhere in Kaza could I find local cuisine like Amdo Momo, Guyma, Mutton Shapta, Tingmo, Phing, Phodamen etc. It was so good that I visited 3-4 times out of my stay for 4 days. Other so called popular places in Kaza are mediocre.......period.

Amazing place ! Great Ambiance with a fabulous outdoor section. The food is outstanding and definitely worth a visit while you are in Kaza. You cannot miss going to this place. Its well worth the travel. Met some lovely people while I was there and the staff is also very polite and friendly.

We visited Cafe Piti during our stay in Kaza in September 2019. The place is beautifully done with a sun roof deck. Soak in the sun with good music and food. Tibetan cuisine that they serve here is really nice. We had Mutton Shapta and Chicken Shapale, which was really good. The best part was freshly brewed coffee, something that's a rarity in such remote parts. In all, a really tastefully done place, with good ambience, music and food. Must visit if you're in Kaza. Keep up the good work guys, Cheers!

Beautifully done up cafe, with a fantastic view of the mountains. Check out their delicious local menu. I couldn't pronounce half the dishes, but loved them all, especially the Gyuma and their oh-so-juicy momos. And they do a mean coffee!nGood place to hang out. Friendly staff. Clean comfortable and excellent food.

A wonderful little place like this, good service, a lovely manager, beautiful bunch of people, good food, AND amidst the beautiful vibe of Spiti! What else do you need? :)
