Best place to enjoy the snow.. Scenic views of mountain fully loaded with ice & river besides.

A flat bitumined rectangular piece of area with a helicopter landing sign and lots and lits of area for vehicular parking. The view around is very good with snow covered mountain on 3 sides, a river going along and Sissu town perched atop a flat small hill.

What an amazing place.. had an amazing time sitting next to the frozen river and enjoying the gorgeous snow laden mountains

This has now been converted to a temporary place for tourists to gather as access to Keylong is blocked by police. There's a huge car parking along with food outlets. You can enjoy your day beside the magnificent Chenab and snow covered mountains. I visited on last day of 2020 and the temperature was around 12 degrees below zero.
