This place in my opinion is a better climb than Ramanagara hill. It’s a nice Gradual linear climb and has a nice view once you reach the top. The approach to the hill is not that great though. Overall it’s a good climb and I’d recommend it :)

The default route suggested by Google maps is incorrect. When going from Bengaluru, you should take a left at Basavanapura. There is a railway crossing approximately hundred metres after you take left from Bengaluru Mysore highway. Go down that road for less than 1 kilometre where you will find a temple and the road splits into 2. Take the road on the right. You can drive for 1 Kms along the road after which it becomes a mud path. You can park your car/bike there or if possible drive another half a kilometre tell you find another small temple. You can park share and start hiking towards the hill.nnthere is no clear path but it is easy to walk through the trees. There are some thorns but otherwise it is safe. we did not see any wild animals, snakes or other insects.nnThe hill starts low from one end and the peak is at the other end. You can only climb from the lower end. There are a few arrow marks painted on the mountainside but I am not sure they will remain therefore long due to sun & rain. Just keep walking towards the top and you should be able to find a way.nnOverall, it should not take more than one hour to reach the peak. It's not difficult if you are physically fit.

Looks like the place is no more accessible for hiking. There is a notice from the forest department notifying it as a state forest.Got to know from the locals that forest officials have heavily fined anyone trespassing.
