Synodal Museum

A lot of history lying behind these walls. Archives related to the development of society in Kerala with regards to Christian community as well as Artefacts makes this church very cum museum crucial as far as history is concerned. However since it's origin, It's not been taken care of properly. This is open only on request.

Good museum with excellent collection .Right location.

Beautiful church. We get the knowledge of udayaperoor synod. Here we can see ancient Malayalam scripts,The chalice which is made by silver and plated gold which is used for the calibration of holymass during the synod, old pictures.. etc .

Synodal museum is an ancient museum in udyamperoor which deals with historical remains of udyamperoor synod which was a important synod for christians in Kerala.nThe synodal church is easily visible from the ernakulam - Kottayam state highway. The museum is now preserved by udyamperoor church. And it is pretty good place to visit once in a while.

It was great experience. Showcasing the old cultural vraieties and evolution of christian religion in Kerala. A must visit museum
