Rameswaram Village Office

Dear people , Same as usal like village office, no more change still 2021 . We are 21st century but here the staff's are 80th edition. Here they need more energy and equipment. If you need any documents from this place , you must follow few times utill you get . But they have few of officers are good and good luck if you find them .

Staffs are not much cooperative. Village officer will not be present most of the days.nServices are good but can be made better and efficient.nLand tax can be paid and all types of certificates can be availed.nSome certificates can be issued within 3 to 15 days time. And some may even takes 1 month if it's related to any court order or cases.nDebit card and credit card payments are also accepted.nWorking time 10.15am to 05.15pm.nLunch break from 01.15pm to 02.00pm.nnIn the current COVID scenario, visit the village office only for urgent matters/certificates.nSanitize your hands before entering the office.

Staffs are very irresponsible, even during this corona season they are delaying issuing of certificates. Village officer will not be there in all working days. They are making even elderly people suffer by making them come many times more than necessary. They won't tell you whichever documents they want at once. They will demand one document and when you submit it then they will ask the next. They make you walking to and from village times for a simple cerficate. I have been to other village offices but I have witnessed this particular issue with this office only.

Efficient than many village offices now with computers help now everything is smooth and speedy to pay the landtax one must bring old tax receipt and original land deed is deep is in bank a paper from the bank is a must all payment related deals take place in the morning only from 10 am to 1 pm
