Chullickal Church Cemetery

This is the place where the mortal remains of our dear departed relatives,friends and parents are laid to eternal rest.The funeral of a deceased Christian especially Catholics start with the prayers at the residence of the individual followed by the prayers in the Church and lastly at the cemetery during the burial.Afterwards special prayers are offered on the seventh day in the Church and at the cemetery near the sepulchre of the deceased. This will be followed on the 30th day and also on the completion of an year.The prayers are then conducted every year on the day of death. Let us pray that the dear departed souls may rest in eternal peace.
