The church located opposite the cemetery and hence wrongly referred to as Cemetery Church is dedicated to the Holy Family instead of a single saint which is the common practice. Neatly maintained inside, it looks a bit ornate which is normal in Kerala churches. The busy and narrow Chittoor Road North and limited parking space make it a difficult proposition to access the church by personal vehicle. However, there is a bus stop just outside if you are travelling by any city bus to/from Chittoor. The ambiance is calm and pleasant. Worth a visit.

The Cemetery under the St James Church is very visibly and conveniently situated adjacent to the main road at Cheranellor on its western side.There is a Chapel in the center.This is the place where the mortal remains of our dear departed relatives and friends are laid to eternal rest.May their souls rest in peace.
