Accomadation and staffs services are good. But they should care about the food.

Yesterday (03-11-2019) we had made a booking in Woodland's Hotel via OYO app and paid the amount for Double Bed room for our official guests at 12 noon.After making the booking we have not received any follow up calls from either the hotel or from OYO. At 11:45 PM we received a call from someone claiming to be OYO staff saying that there is overbooking and only 2 rooms are vacant.My colleague confirmed to the same person that we will be arriving with the guests in about 10 minutes and he informed us to come to the hotel.Upon arriving the hotel staff and OYO staff informed us that all of the rooms are filled up and there is no vacancy and we had to wait for about 2 hours for the staff to get us an accommodation in another OYO hotel.We happen to hear from the OYO staff about the unethical attitude of his senior OYO staff and they arranged a room in a nearby Hotel named Grand Seasons and they we also asked and confirmed about the complimentary breakfast offered.Also my colleague received a call from another person claiming to be OYO staff and his behavior was harsh to her. We had to pay extra money for the cab as the OYO and Woodlands Hotel staff had not taken initiative for transportation of the guests.We reached Grand Seasons hotel and dropped our guests and next day morning our guests was charged extra amount by the same hotel with a reason that OYO had informed them to charge our guests and they have not even given them the promised complimentary breakfast.We received a call from OYO again from a person who introduced himself as the manager and he was giving indigestible replies to my colleague who booked the room.Totally a horrible experience in our entire life from a service provider personally and officially.We will not be making a booking ever again through OYO for any of our guests.A suggestion to those of you who opt for service of OYO,think twice before you make a booking through OYO and be at your own risk.

The worst hotel experience i had in kerala, the pictures on display are of someother place, the rooms are very old and not maintained, in pictures larger rooms are shown, but in reality it's much smaller. I booked 2 deluxe room through OYO, and they provided me with small normal rooms. I paid they through Gpay, as the card reader in the hotel was not working. I asked them about the Deluxe room i booked, and they were speechless. Later they cancelled my booking, stating that the payment is pending.nnWorst hotel to book rooms. Its quite cheap, but if service and comfort is what you are looking for, never book this hotel.nnI stayed with my family, and this place is not for families. Don't stay here if you are traveling with your family.

The hotel is quite different from what was shown on oyo or even google.n1. First look wasn't good at all and I was highly disappointed as I expected some royal high class hotel but again, it is oyo after all. The building was in a bad situation and hotel has lost it's shine as you might be seeing in google or oyo photos. They are misleading.n2. Nonetheless, the location of hotel is quite awesome. As a tourist, it may not be as good as you'd think because all the tourist locations are around 15km away(in a bunch), but the hotel is in the center of city and very close to railway station and malls and restaurants which is a plus point. For the price, it is very good.n3. The rooms are good, AC works fine, bathrooms are neat and clean and finished. Though from outside the hotel may not look good. The bookings in that hotel were mostly online and services in the hotel were inadequate. But, as for us we were bunch of friends, it was good deal.n4. Zomato+ Uber are a blessing. Pretty cheap and affordable, you can have your breakfast and dinners with them running.n5. Do visit *Sharma's Restaurant* if you want proper North Indian cuisine (1km away/30rs on uber auto). You will thank me for this. Trust me.nnOverall we didn't have any problem. The receptionists were good young boys who were dedicated and polite. You won't regret the stay if you don't expect a lot from hotels. Anyway, if you are in kochi, you won't be staying in hotels for long. So, you can go for the deal(if under 1600, not more than that.)
