Sealord Hotel

Just recently i came to know that this is kerala's first tallest skyscraper. I felt so bad for not knowing the historical importance it had and passed by this hotel a million times without even giving a good look. For such an old hotel, i must say they are doing a marvelous job by maintaining it in perfect condition. Interiors have a completely 70's or 80's hifi looks and that too without a rusty feeling. I have had only food from here. They also serve alcohol. Their service has to be mentioned too, very good in hospitality and food quality.

Only 3 stars just for the spacious rooms and food.nBathrooms were a bit oddly designed. Staff was good and friendly though. We had tough time getting sleep due to mosquitos. Intercom wasn't working. Lights and switches are not placed well. Didn't expect all this from a 3 star hotel. I would say this place is only a good restaurant with huge rooms for lodging and friendly staff.

Car parking and taking out was an issue, but the hotel staffs were friendlier in it. The restaurant was not available and nearby restaurants not up to the mark. All shops close by night 8.00.nnThe hotel room was spacious and hot water was available 24x7. The hotel is located near to Marine drive ferry and MG metro station.nnHad a good stay.
