Very good veraite Store at Maa Ugratara Temple compound. All items like utensils for Picnic cooking, grosorries, ice-cream etc are available here in genuine price.

Although it is one of the oldest shakti pithas, still a lot of improvement is needed. The surrounding could have been made more attractive for visitors by planting more trees and developing the area by providing amenities to devotees. Steps should be taken to mobilize people to refrain from animal sacrifice. Let the place flourish with the happy humming of people, with the chanting of mantra by pujakas, certainly not by the woeful cries of the sacrificed animals. The blood of the animals only leaves a painful stain.

Age old temple with scenic view. Mangalgiri Lake is few miles away . Almost mid way from Bhubaneswar - Barkul . The temple too is connected to enchanting Chilika Lake .
