I visited the place in 2013.... But the memories are still warm... Often we think we are the best, but our predecessors were geniuses to carve out these structures without the modern tools...

Nice place for photography. 1 hour is enough to spend.. But its too hot here... Bring water with you always

Khandagiri is better and more organised and decorated with flower gardens and a slope for ease of walking but looks artificial to some extent. Udaygiri is more natural and rough with rocky steps but will be difficult to climb for most tourists and is very risky. Both have rock carved caves at the top and make for some wonderful photo clicking spots.
