Kanyakumari Cinema Hall is located about 500mts below railway station. you can reach here by coming down through D B road or via Garage lane. It is among the oldest cinema hall in Darjeeling and still it is functioning. These days even locally made movies are shown here. Though the Hall is not functioning like it use to be ten years before. Those days kanyakumari Hall attraced people from near by place and one cold see people coming out and walking though D B road as if the were marching in a procession or rally. Still it is one among one of the iconic buildings in Sonada.
