We enjoyed the hill ride to the spot though it was around 10kms only. Unfortunately did not trek much into the hills, we stopped at the first small dam on the trekking route. Went there by jeep and returned by walk. But it was good enough for my family with 2 kids. We did enjoy the ice cold water, I could even swim in that small dam. We were also told that the place has got more restrictions after the forest fire incident. From Theni, you can close this trip easily in the 1st half of the day.

It is very nice place from here if you Travel 10 km the you can reach Vattavada
