Sitapur Eye Hospital has been a leading Tertiary care eye institute of India since 1947. Established in 1927,it has been serving the people of India for more than 90 years. Founded by Dr. M.P. Mehray Padma Bhushan, Padma Shree Rai Sahib, Rai Bahadur DR BC Roy Awardee in a small town called Khairabad, where patients were served in small huts and tents. Later on it has shifted to the present location in the year 1947. Sitapur Eye Hospital (SEH) serves more than 32 cities and towns in the states of Uttrakhand and Uttar Pradesh. In the year 1981,it was upgraded to Regional Institute of Opthalmology by Govt. of India.

The male staff was treating the elderly very badly, the communication was worse, he was scolding the old people... Worse experience ud83dudc4eud83dudc4eud83dudc4eDr. VANDANA GANGWAR ...had no sense about how to treat the patients... Being a doctor she should atleast treat the older people with respect... Poor of her... This is pathetic now, how dare she criticise my mother saying her illiterate. .. she is the worst and most impolite doctor i have ever met.
