An superb storehouse of tramways transportation device of old town of Calcutta. lots of artifacts, models are kept interior enriching the understanding concerning history of transportation gadget of this tricentennary metropolis. commonly the location saved closed in Thursday, however at some stage in holidays the region profits the attendance of plenty of site visitors. excellent area for a pair date, masses of chats between pals and enjoying nostalgia with hot coffee and snacks, for forty five minutes. furthermore the region is so photogenic that one cannot switch off his/her cell digital camera, but virtual digital camera isn't always allowed inside. in keeping with my traveling enjoy, perfect time to visit is after the sunset, when the lighting fixtures grow to be greater luminous, the vicinity becomes greater enthralling.

I have visited this place twice till now. A small but cosy place for friends or couples. You can get snacks like maggi, biscuit, coffee, tea, chips inside the tram. It also has a little garden around it.

This place is a hidden gem, right in the middle of Esplanade.nnIt's a tram museum, inside a decommissioned carriage. Aside from the spectacular history of Trams in Kolkata...it also has a small indoor cafe (very basic) for people to relax over snacks.nnHighly recommended, if you are in or around Esplanade.

A great refreshing place in heart of the city, Kolkata. It situated Just opposite of the KC das , inside the Tram Depot.nnIt has a fragrance of History of Kolkata & nostalgia in the City. A Old compartment of a 1940's Tram redesigned as a cafe, with some additions of Old pictures of Kolkata & some instruments of Tram are here for see. Nice!!!! It's made on an original tram. First bogie is for museum and second bogie is for cafeteria. More than museum I love the cafeteria and the employees are very kind nature. I should have gave 5 star but only thing that museum is too small and entry fee is also low Rs.20 for single tram museum and in combo Rs.15 but it is too small. But experience is awesome.
