Uluberia - II Block Development Office come under Uluberia Sub-devision Office. Maximum staffs are good.nIt's located between Uluberia - Amta road, Bus and Auto are available.

Uluberia-II Development Block with an area of 72.21 sq. km situated in the west side of the Howrah District & lying at a distance of 6 km. from Uluberia Sub-Divisional Office.nThe block is bounded with Amta-I Dev. Block in north,; Bagnan-I Dev. Block in west; Panchla Dev. Block in east and Uluberia Municipal area in west. The block lies in close proximity of Uluberia Station and is well connected with Howrah Station via Howrah-Kharagpur line. Side by side, the block is situated in the vicinity of National Highway 6.nThe block comprises with 8(eight)numbers of Gram Panchayats and it covers two Assembly Constituencies partly, i.e. 176 Uluberia Purba and 177 Uluberia Uttar (SC) Assembly Constituencies under 26-Uluberia Parliamentary Constituency.nThere are two Police Stations’ fall under administrative unit of Uluberia-II Block i.e Uluberia Police Station and Bauria Police Station. There are 111 nos of urban polling stations under Uluberia Municipal area out of which 75 nos belong to Bauria Police Station and 36 nos fall under Uluberia Police Station.nUluberia-II Development Block is a semi-urban block with a mixed population of ‘Urban’ & ‘Rural’ nature. In one side a large number of inhabitants of mixed culture are working in Jute Mills and other small and large scale industries, whereas nearly 30% of the total population depends on agricultural activities.
